Eco-Printing

Eco-printing is a process using mostly Australian flora to create uniquely beautiful organic designs on paper. You will choose organic materials and arrange them to make greeting cards and frameable gifts using a natural dyeing technique.

Monica Youlley has twin passions of ecology and mindful creativity. Monica studied at the Rush Prowse School of Art in Cape Town and has an Australian teaching qualification. She has renewed her association with renowned Australian artist Anne Leon and in doing so has kindled a love for eco-printing.

What we provide

You will receive focused, one-on-one time with an experienced facilitator in a relaxed setting.

All materials will be provided along with coffee and cake.

What to bring

Monica asks that each participant supplement the supply of flowers and leaves by bringing a small amount of picked flora from their own gardens. This gives the process a personal touch.

Australian native leaves (grevillea, eucalyptus, bottlebrush etc.) work best, along with geranium flowers, hydrangeas, marigolds, camellias, monbretia, liquid amber leaves, ferns and maple leaves.

Suitable for

This process is suitable for anyone who wishes to learn a new skill, no experience necessary.
