Salt Impasto
Artisan Salt Impasto is a powder additive that gives Natural Chalk Finish added texture and depth. Perfect to give that authentic weathered, salty, rustic textured look. Added to paint you can achieve chalky, textured and chippy layered looks depending on mix and application.
Add 1 part Impasto to 2 parts paint. Mix to a cottage cheese consistency. Apply to prepared surface (stipple paint for more texture) and allow to set for 10-20 minutes. Pass a dry brush over the surface to slightly flatten any large lumps. Once dry, continue with additional colours and layers of paint. Wet sand with fine sandpaper (220 grit) to reveal layered colours.
